How to get to Notre Dame
The University of Notre Dame is next to South Bend, Indiana. It is in northern Indiana, half-way between the Illinois and Ohio borders, and just 5 miles south of the Michigan border.
If you are driving from either East or West, take Interstate 80/90 (Indiana Toll Road) and take Exit 77. That will take you right to Notre Dame.
If you are flying into South Bend, the area is served by the South Bend International Airport (code: SBN), which is only about 20 minutes from campus. Note: if you email us your itinerary in advance, we can pick you up from South Bend airport.
If you are flying into Chicago: Coach USA buses no longer serve Notre Dame. We will soon update this page with more details, but most ND students take a train from the airport to Millenium Station, and then take the South Shore train from Millenium Station to South Bend's airport. We can then pick you up.
